Catherine Adams – Lead Podiatrist
Catherine Adams, Lead Podiatrist qualified in 2001 from Salford University, and has worked over 20 years in both the NHS and in private practice.
As a HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered Podiatrist, Catherine practices under strictly regulated guidelines from the Health and Care Professions Council. She is also a member of the Royal College of Podiatry (RCOP) and served eight years as an active committee member of the Lancashire branch of the RCOP.
Catherine’s work within the NHS has given her great experience and expertise with general and complex foot problems. She has worked closely with Age UK, providing foot care training and was seconded to work alongside the infection prevention team within the NHS, which has enabled her to incorporate excellent infection control and sterilisation methods within Pear Tree Podiatry.
Catherine also represented the Lancashire branch of the Royal College of Podiatry at Clarence House London to celebrate the centenary year of the society, meeting the Duchess of Cornwall who is the patron of the RCOP for afternoon tea.
